If Southampton get promoted to the Championship they will sign Peterborough striker Craig Mackail-Smith for £2million and James Vaughan for £1.5million from Everton.'

A Host of championship + League 1 clubs are in the race to sign craig mackail smith with Southampton leading the way. Blackpool also strongly interested.

Problem is will turn into a bit of an auction which would prefer not to get dragged in, make an offer for the player and if he wants to come then he will make sure it happens

Well wont be Vaughan as signed for Norwich and see they are also after Morrison from Millwall who has put in a transfer bid. If they sign him them will theys still want Michael Smith?

CMS would be a great signing for us I think as he is very mobile and can score. His worth will have gone up after he helped Posh join us in the Championship.

Well certainly looks like will be moving but think will be a bidding war unless CMS has made up his own mind where he wants to go to. Pboro will still sell despite going up as he could go for nothing next year and they will need the money to reinvest. I wouldnt be surprised to see QPR bid which would make hard for us as they can offer premiership football
