Re: PETERBOROUGH: Post-match reaction
That was a ridiculous game which we totally and utterly threw away. How could we blow a two-goal lead TWICE like that? Not good enough, 'entertaining for the neutrals' my arse, bollocks to the neutrals.
Special mention to the ref - for being a c***.

Re: PETERBOROUGH: Post-match reaction
Or maybe for Peterborough not being given a penalty when they should and the ref deciding to even things up later on?

Re: PETERBOROUGH: Post-match reaction
Well waited until today as was to much like Mr Angry last night at having thrown away 2points, not much better now!
Fault for me rests with Adkins who had me screaming at TV to change the side in second half as we sat deeper. Guly and Chamberlain were both awful in midfield and were crying out for them to be replaced. Far to late as ever did he react and then leaves Chamberlain on the pitch, is he afraid now that he has to play him all the time because of the hype. Fact was he played in a more central role and I didnt see him make a tackle all night. In this league you cant carry passengers and if NA insists on playing him in a more central role then he has to make tackles. The one time he used his pace and ran he gets a penalty. Their full back was scared witless of him so why didnt he leave him out wide and create the chances?? What's this as well with Chamberlain standing next to their free kick taker and lining up the wall? How long has he been playing?? Plus seemed to have a bit of lip on him last night. Think the kid should be away from home starting on the bench. If he plays at home please use him out wide and let him learn all the so called clever stuff when he is with a premiership side next year. We must get promoted this year and that comes before Chamberlain's footballing education.
Guly was also poor off the pace trying to run with the ball but pitch and wind made that a lottery but not his style. funny at 4 - 2 we were crying out for a player like Wotton to battle in midfield and break up play but or we had on the bench was Gobern!!
Final nail in the coffin for me was taking off Barnard. He was the one forward you could use the wind knock the ball to and he would hold it up. He then brings on Forte who is supposed to be a wide player wit5h pace and plays him as a striker. Think he had three touches all poor and all gave the ball away. not his fault as he should be on the wing using his pace not his touch.
Seaborne who had been in good form last two games had a nightmare never should have been beaten for first goal and what a stupid tackle to give away first penalty. Think he has to be dropped as such a shocker but please give Martin a chance.
We need Schneiderlin and Lallana fit so we have 4 top midfield players and 3 should be starting every game, with other on the bench able to come on and keep the midfield strong. Said we needed a midfield player in transfer window and last night just confirms that to me, hope we might do some business in Loan market but not confident, Cox from WBA please.
