WOULD A RUN IN THE CUP BE GOOD? OR A HINDRANCE?

Re: WOULD A RUN IN THE CUP BE GOOD? OR A HINDRANCE?
Don't think a cup run will be a hindrance for now. went out of both League Cup and JPT early on and currently have most players fit so a chance to give some players who are on the bench, Bart, Dickson, Jaidi, Martin a competitive game yet not really putting out a weakened side.
If you get away games or replays then becomes a bit of a pain but get home draws and win so we at least reach 3rd round with prospect of premiership side then think it will be positive.

That's what I'd like, too. A home tie against a minnow like Dover (then a 4th round tie against Premier League opposition) or an away tie against ManU or Chelsea where we can get the cup over and done with, with no embarrassment to ourselves.
Please, NOT the skates in the next round. I don't know why people keep wanting them (derby reasons aside) as we'd only lose and have to put up the gloating that it causes, let's wait until we in the same division as them.

Happy with that, Holloway is a bit of a nut case but likes to play attacking football so should be a good game.

Yep, we should give them a good game and if we lose it's no disgrace as they're a PL side. It's a win-win situation for us even if we lose ;)

Chance for some of the players who think they should be in the Premiership (Lambert?) to show everyone what they can do. As you say cant really lose going into the game. Bet you that Holloway starts about Blackpool being the underdog!

Yes Brett is still playing though mostly as a sub, amazing he is still playing and one guy who always gave 100% and played a key role getting us to Cardiff a few years ago. They also have Craine at left back, never rated him! Plus they also have Jason Euell so plenty of ex saints could be playing especially if Holloway rests a few.
