Re: TRANMERE POST-MATCH REACTION
Great performance today, completely outclassed Tranmere in every area of the pitch and should have won by more. Guly came good today and looked well below his level with lots of classy touches. Chaplow was also impressive with lots of positive running to get in behind. If he keeps it up he should get a goal soon. The defense was very comfortable and passed the ball out well. Hammond sat in front of the defence and helped get the ball forward. Lallana and Puncheon were both a constant threat and Puncheon did some excellent tracking back which was appreciated by a crowd that has become more supportive of him in recent weeks. Lambert is still not quite there but got the first goal with a header and was involved in some good build up play. Another great team peformance and an entertaining game to watch. Every Saints fan will have gone home with a smile on their face.

Re: TRANMERE POST-MATCH REACTION
Saints have hit their stride at last. It took a while coming but now its onwards and upwards and we'll soon overhaul Bournemouth. It could have been a lot more, but 2-0 will do.

Re: TRANMERE POST-MATCH REACTION
Reports all look positive and mate who went said totally in control, though rated Tranmere worst team so far. Only 1 goal conceded in 5 games now I think and that was a penalty so Adkins has brought some good discipline to the team yet playing good football. If you dont give the ball away more likely not to concede.
Sure the goals will flow more freely soon but if we keep the defence tight wont need loads to win a game.
Play off position by December, then we can push on for one of those top 2 places
