JAN CARES....BUT DO THE PLAYERS??

'JAN Poortvliet admitted he could not sleep after Saints’ abject display at Rotherham.
Saints were dumped out of the Carling Cup on Tuesday after a 3-1 defeat to the League Two side 47 places below them in the pyramid.
The head coach revealed he was concerned some of the players did not seem too upset about the defeat.
That, along with the performance, left the head coach with a sleepless night.
“It was difficult to sleep in the night, it was just in the morning that I slept a little bit,” he said.
“I think about what’s happened and what is the next thing, because we have to do something.
“The only thing we need is players who go for a win and, like me, don’t sleep when they lose, because for me that’s a big point.
“I don’t think some of the players realised what we did.
“A lot realised what we did to our fans, but not all I don’t think.
“Some of them are too relaxed with the defeat.”

At least he looks as though he truly cares. That is always a good start. How many of those that didn't look too bothered will he pick on Saturday?

Reading between the lines it does't look as though he has much faith in our squad. Even though he spoke about some poor efforts against Rotherham it does not look like many changes will be made other than ones forced upon him..
