MURTY OUT AGAIN! Empty MURTY OUT AGAIN!

I think that it's no coincidence that we've looked stronger since Graeme Murty has been at right back. His experience and reading of the game is invaluable, but I now fear that we'll be more fragile in defence with Lloyd James back there. He's not a tackler and he's often outpaced by speedy wingers. Perhaps it should be Wayne Thomas and keep Lloyd where he is? What do we think?

If GM is out I would defo play James in midfield with Thomas at RB.

Agreed, but I wouldn't mind seeing Thomas leave really as I just don't think he is very good and I don't like his style of play.

Definitely my choice would be Thomas RB and leave James in midfield where he seemed to have a good game last week but he cant defend. Alternatively I would play Perry at RB and bring in Trotman.

I think this will mean AP will definitely bring in 1 if not 2 defenders in January, depending on if Trotman stays.

It is a shame as Murty makes such a difference with his exerience.

OS report that Murty has now had an ankle operation and he will be out for quite a while. His future will be reviewed at the end of the season. Damn shame!!

Is a shame as without doubt we look so much better with him at RB, shows that you need proper defenders not midfield players who can play there if needed.

Graeme seems to be spending more time on the tv show now and may well retire in the near future. It is a crying shame as we still don't have a RB on our books that looks capable of doing a job for us.

We have reserve backs so why can't we use one of them instead of using a player who plays somewhere else all the time? What is the point of having a reserve team if the players are not able to step up when needed?
