Still no Jaidi confirmation YET! Starting to get a bit worried about this deal.

Hopefully the Mirror has it right this morning......
Southampton boss Alan Pardew is to make Tunisian international Radhi Jaidi his second signing of the summer.
Jaidi was released by Birmingham boss Alex McLeish at the end of last season despite making 30 appearances in the Championship promotion side.
Pardew wants the 33-year-old defender to line up alongside new-boy Dan Harding for the opening League One fixture against Millwall on Saturday.

Fingers crossed, Mike.
Rearguard is starting to take shape, is it not?

Well they got it wrong in saying he will be the second signing. If we get him he will be number 3 under Pardew!

Think they are waiting on the work permit, which shouldn't be a problem.

Re: Murty puts pen to paper
So he wants him as left CB or left half as we used to say way back in the last century. Seems like AP has seen enough to know where he wants his players to play. That in itself must be a good sign. Especially if the players don't have to play out of position like in recent times.
