Brighton next - they have a new boss

Gus Poyet has taken over. It will be interesting to see how the players try to impress in their first game.

They may have Poyet as manager, but I still think we'll be too strong for them on Sunday. We're at home, now have a good, settled side scoring loads of goals and I don't think 'new manager syndrome' will work in their favour on Sunday. Their defence has more holes than the Titanic and their disciplinary record is truly atrocious, how many sendings off have they had this season?

Agree think we will still be to strong but just typical that manager is replaced before we play them remember Colchester this season!

I think it will be close, just a single goal either way.

I hope we don't take this one for granted because Brighton are sure to be up for it! 3 points would see us out of the relegation zone.

I have a feeling that Southampton think they only need to turn up to win.....lets hope Poyet's Brighton do us proud.

Some of the fans may think that, but I am sure that the players don't - and even if they do Pardew will, I'm sure (and hope!), soon make them think otherwise. I still believe we'll take the points but it won't be as easy as some think due, in part, to the fact that Brighton's players will be out to impress Poyet.

Saints had better bloody buck their ideas up in the second half. Hopefully that goal and a massive bollocking at half time will produce the three points we need. Trotman, Harding and Jaidi need to wake up and stop being so slack.
