Re: BRIGHTON AWAY
Not a good performance, but needed the points. They need to start getting to grips with their performance soon.
Still Djenepo did me a favour........ I 'bet' on him to score in the Facebook Gamble Game!!

Re: BRIGHTON AWAY
Yeah not a great performance but a great result.
Ralph said dint play well and the constant changing at the back will not help. Do not understand why Yoshida didn't start, especially with the injury to Bertrand as can play left back. Plus was our best defender against Liverpool, Bedanek and Vestergard are not a great pairing but at least Danso has got some game time and presume will paly against Fulham in cup.
Three up front doesn't work for us as impacts the rest of the team so going to have to make a decision on best front 2 (Redmond and Ings) and stick with them. Hojberg looked like he had a poor game and think if Lemina doesn't get a move this week he will be brought back into the squad and will hopefully try and play well so he can get a move in January. At the moment I would keep him as short in DM.
Excellent goal by Djensepo and does look like his pace will create problem, only play 45 minutes but has 2 bookings, both within 5 minutes of coming on the pitch so Ralph may need to calm him down a little. Suspect another one who might start against Fulham but think for now a great impact player to bring on early second half.
Defence is our big problem, awful defending for their disallowed goal, also from the corner at the end when they should have scored and the "handball" by Bedanek. Some said Bedanek did well to put the guy off at the end but it was his fault totally unmarked. I would go 4 at the back with Yoshida and Vestergard (who isn't great) and looks like Danso can be versatile so sit him in front of back 4 to protect them plus give us height for free kicks/corners.
Boufal will be another that cannot seeing starting but useful player to have on the bench and if we have Boufal, Djensepo and Adams on the bench at least we have options
Think will be an up and down season and can only see bottom 6 with our defence.

Re: BRIGHTON AWAY
Thanks for that Matty....... hope you're wrong about the bottom 6 bit, but I don't think Saints have played well in any game so far this season. Hope that will change soon
