YOUNGSTERS OUT ON LOAN

GRIMSBY Town have signed Southampton defender Oliver Lancashire on a month-long loan deal ahead of today's League Two clash at Bournemouth.
The 21-year-old centre-back, who has made three appearances for the Saints this season, has been drafted in ahead of the 12 noon loan deadline in order to make the short trip along the south coast to join up with his new team-mates.
Neil Woods made the move for the 6ft 1ins England under-19 international with Ryan Bennett now departed and both Rob Atkinson (groin) and Matt Heywood (knee) sidelined.

Jake Thomson to Torquay.....

"Southampton's 20-year-old midfielder Jake Thomson has joined League Two outfit Torquay United on a month-long loan-deal.

Thompson has made five appearances for the Saints this season, all of which have come from the bench.

He has been capped twice by Trinidad & Tobago in their World Cup qualifiers and has joined Torquay on a month-long loan-deal in a bid to gain some first team experience."

Young keeper Andrej Pernecky has gone to Bognor on a months loan.

Kayne McLaggon has joined Eastbourne on a month's loan.
