The refs are a bunch of complete planks in theis division and this jerk off is the worst of all.
Mills on for Schneiderlin.

Re: SOUTHEND ON FRIDAY
Corner to Saints. I don't think it came to anything. Time nearly up.

All the teams above us will start looking over their shoulders now as we are on the way back.

Re: SOUTHEND ON FRIDAY
If we can get a result on saturday at Oldham(?) we will really be on the march.
Re: SOUTHEND ON FRIDAY
Saints are on our way back. Got to get out of the relegation zone and up that table. I actually feel more optimistic about our chances now than I have in a long time. Let's hope our relegation rivals all lose tomorrow.

Re: SOUTHEND ON FRIDAY
A few more wins will see us move into mid-table. With 3 wins out of 3 so far for october, could we win the next 3 to make it 6/6??

Re: SOUTHEND ON FRIDAY
Oldham will be difficult but with our super strikeforce of Ricky, Lallana and Papa we can beat them.

Re: SOUTHEND ON FRIDAY
If we play like we have in the past two league games then I think we will be fine. I'll be happy with a point away at Oldham (as long as we haven't chucked away two points in the process) but now the team has come together and are full of confidence. We're defending well (apart from the odd bit of headless chickenry, although even the headless chicken moments are getting fewer) and can score goals now the players have found out where the back of the net is.
If we count the JPT game midweek then that's two wins and a draw, or three wins (counting winning the penalty shoot out).

Re: SOUTHEND ON FRIDAY
3 wins and we are on a roll. Hope to be able to listen in next saturday to hear us doing it again.
Win that is.
Win that is.
Re: SOUTHEND ON FRIDAY
Sorry not on earlier but long day with golf and everything. Great result and continues to build momentum. With Connolly in the squad now really beginning to look we are capable of scoring in every game but Oldham away then MK Dons will be further tests. Just need to guard against complacency but AP will be aware of that. Lallana beginning to have a great season and will be enjoying his football, seems he made the right decision to stay whereas Drew might be thinking if he jumped ship to early.
Going to be a good weekend.

I hate League One. I hate the shitty refs, the shitty, attritional, little teams and the fact we get most of the decisions against us. Let's hope we do what we did Saturday.
I still hate League One, but Saints keep playing like this and the shitty, attritional teams full of clogging thugs and the crap refs can do what they like, we will still win! rude face

Re: SOUTHEND ON FRIDAY
Not if the thugs actually get better at their kicking and punching. If the game had been on sky I bet we would have seen at least one straight red with another one possible for two yellows. Because we are no longer important we have to suffer incompetant referees game after game. It wouldn't be so bad if we knew that it would even itself up over the season.

Saafend fans on 606 were insisting that their man didn't actually punch James and 'anyway he deserved it' and our players were a cheating whining bunch out to get their players booked and sent off! Ok, I wasn't there, admittedly, but that's not what I have heard. I guess this is life among the bottom feeders...
Edited to say that I don't mean the above to sound arrogant (which it probably does) but life in the lower leagues is definitely a lot different to what we have been used to.
