FOUR minutes of injury time???!! I suppose that was for the scrap and the sorting out of that, plus injury to the Charlton players just now.

I wish Mellis would stop diving everytime an opposition player gets near him.

FT. Another arsehole bloody draw, but I'll take it considering we had two huge let offs. And we've ended Charlton's winning run.

Decent result but AP should have brought on Saga or Papa Waigo after about 65 minutes to take the pressure off us. No subs until 76 minutes and all Mellis managed to do was a couple of dives.

It seems that opinions about today's game are polarised. Some people are saying 'a point at a team who have won their first six, is excellent' and others are whingeing and calling for Pardew's head (which I think is patently ridiculous). Personally, while I tend to agree that this away point is a good one, I would be happier about it if we had won at least one of our previous games this season. 5 points from a possible 21 is not good enough, especially given the deficit, and I can't imagine any Saints fans being satisfied with this situation.
I am getting sick of Saints spunking away a lead each time, we have no killer instinct whatsoever and tend to panic when taking the lead. This is unacceptable and AP needs to address this (as well as ridiculously late subs) a.s.a.p., although I think that once we get a couple of wins (starting against Yeovil next week, I hope) this will cure itself.

Like most fed up with no wins, this is Div 1 for gods sake! That said I accept we have to give AP time to turn things around and if you look at the squad now with players coming back from injury beginning to look solid. Defence is now sorted with Jaidi adding to the back and when Murthy is back will be able to have subs like Perry on bench so no need to shuffle the midfield evertime a defender gets injured. Midfield is now more balanced with Mills and Holmes fit on the left side. I'm not convinced that Mellis should be ahead of others and looks like Gillet is out of favour. One area still a concern has to be up front as no one knows whether Saga will try, Patterson is learning the game and who knows whether Papa will deliver. Still with that squad I am confident the wins will start coming at last, starting next week.

Regards todays result sounds like draw a fair result and with Charlton's record so far and confidence they must have think it is a good result. Subs is an issue with AP, took to long to sort out in a couple of games when RH side was being ripped apart and sems a bit negative at times, Patterson of the other week but no other forwards, Papa going on today last minute. Perhaps when we have some wins will get more aggressive, in reality guess there was no way he wanted to lose today.
