Re: Charlton @ The Valley
I think I'll do this one because I haven't been to an away game for over a year.

Re: Charlton @ The Valley
Can't make this one but aiming for Orient game. Don't like Charltons' ground anyhow, pretty grim for away fans though Weatherspoons is normally busy with saints fans.
Hope the players are fired up for this one as AP will give them grief if they don't get something here and depends who we are able to play but with charlton 100% record and us without a win has to be an away win banker!!!

Re: Charlton @ The Valley
I hate making predictions but I have a feeling that Charlton's nice shiny 100% unbeaten run - indeed, winning, run - will come to an abrupt end on Saturday. :news:

Re: Charlton @ The Valley
I also have a feeling saints will win at Charlton. It might be interesting to see what the bookies are offering for an away win.I just feel we are about to turn the corner in terms of our results and performance, hopefully we will now begin to see a settled side emerge that will do us proud.Well chuffed that Jaidi is with us now, i feel he will be a tremendous acquisition for the club.Up the Saints!

Re: Charlton @ The Valley
Saga is not in the squad so unless Paterson or Papa Waigo play up front perhaps we will try a Dutch style team of
Davis
Thomas Jaidi Trotman Harding
Hammond Schneiderlin
PWN'D Lallana Mills
Lambert
Personally I think that would be quite a strong team for away fixtures.

Re: Charlton @ The Valley
I would be more than tempted to drop Lallana and play James RM as he can put in some good crosses and can cover at the back.
Re: Charlton @ The Valley
Line up is as I said earlier but with Perry instead of Jaidi and James instead of PWND. Despite not being in the original sqaud Saga is on the bench along with Jaidi, PWND, Holmes, Mellis and Paterson, so we have VERY strong bench.

Re: Charlton @ The Valley
Afternoon all. Hope my optimism isn't misplaced!
I'm surprised that Waigo and Jaidi are not starting, especially Jaidi. The bench almost looks stronger than the team out on the field

Re: Charlton @ The Valley
Corner to Saints. No good - as usual. I wish someone other than Lallana would take the corners.
It looks as if the plan to stick 5 across midfield and stifle Charlton is working.

Re: Charlton @ The Valley
Bournemouth winning 2-0 at the moment. Sick of them winning when we aren't, basically because part of me is sneakingly afraid they will go up this season and we could conceivably go in the other direction.
