Swindon away 18/08/09
Mills is still injured but Holmes could return on the left. Rasiak, Saga and Paterson all fighting to partner Rickie up front.

Re: Swindon away 18/08/09
I would pick this:
Davis
Murty Thomas Perry Harding
Thomson Schneiderlin Gillett Holmes
Lambert Rasiak
Mellis may be good but I don't know enough about him or what his best position is.

be
Melis has played for Chelsea youth and reserves. He has also played as a back, centre back and centre midfielder. It is possible that he could play as CB or centre midfield. He has also been on the bench with the first team and is well fancied at Chelsea.
My team for tomorrow could
Davis
James,Thomas,Perry,Harding
Thomson,Mellis,Scneiderlin,Holmes
Lallana,Lambert
Murty may not play as he has a niggle but he will play if fit.
Subs is again a problem as we don't know the starting lineup. I pray wotton doesn't play.
Bart, Lancashire, Gobern, James, Paterson, Gillett, Saganowski

Re: Swindon away 18/08/09
Murty extremely doubtful with a dead leg. James likely to play right back and Mellis to play right midfield.

Mellis is playing very well. Shame that Lallana can't do the same.

Lambert is probably planning to move back to Bristol, because the midfield is giving him no service.

Re: Swindon away 18/08/09
While part of me is pissed off that we have picked up where we left off last season, I suppose that with the summer's administration and takeover dramas and only a short time to prepare, maybe we shouldn't be too surprised that the team's underperforming. I am hoping that with a couple more signings and the dross (Wotton, Lallana, Lancashite) dropped we can start to move onwards and upwards. There's absolutely NO excuse for the shite we're getting, the team are lightweight and like a bunch of frightened rabbits in headlights and that's inexcusable.
As I said the other day, if the team still have a losing mentality and a 'hangover' from last season's debacle then they want a bloody good kick up the arse, and that's what I was hoping AP would do. They may be in L1, but they're professional players and need to get their shit together bloody fast.
