The squad for next season

Where do you think our squad needs improving and should anyone be surplus to requirements? I think we need about 23 players in the first team squad.

GK Davis - Bart - Forecast
RB James - Murty?
LB Harding - Mills
CB Thomas - Perry - new signing - Lancashire
RM new signing - McClaggon/Thomson
LM Holmes - new signing
CM Gillet - Wotton - Schneiderlin - Lallana - new signing
ST John - new signing - Patterson - White

This would leave Pulis and Molyneux to be released and Poke, Gobern, Boyle, Doble, Saville and Pernecky to stay in the reserves. Also I'm presuming that Rasiak and Saga will leave. Next season our best XI could be something like this:

Davis
James - Thomas - Perry - Harding
new signing - Gillet - new signing - Holmes
John - new signing

I'd like to think we would get rid of Wotton as well. He is a liability and could easily get booked and sent off regularly. We need a big strong CB because I am concerned Perry could be getting slower and won't grow any taller. A big CB with Thomas could be the answer. Add a big mobile midfielder and we are half way to being a reasonable side at this level.
