Why have Saints imploded like they have?
Other teams have coped with relegation well, except us. When we went down, we missed a chance to go back up. We missed out in the play offs and it's been downhill ever since. In fact, the club has been on a downward spiral since the FA Cup Final in 2003.
What has gone so badly wrong? Why have Saints self-destructed so badly? Why are other clubs, who are no better off than us financially, no better than us on the field and the same as Saints in most respects able to cope with bad times so much more easily than Saints are doing?
Personally I blame bad management by Lowe, Wilde and Crouch and I don't see things getting better any time soon.
What do others think?

You're not the only team to have suffered since the drop. Take a look at the team we had at Coventry our first year down, with the likes of Roland Nilsson, Magnus Hedman, David Thompson, Youssef Chippo, Lee Hughes, Julian Joachim, Jay Bothroyd, Mo Konjic, Gary McSheffery etc. the list could go on, but let's just say it was a strong team, which should never have dropped from the prem.
We've never really had a good sniff of the playoffs since we came down, let alone a serious push for top two!
Even now, with the finances sorted out, and some decent players being brought in, we're struggling to put the ball in the back of the net, despite some really good performances!
Some teams just seem to struggle, regardless of the players/manager involved, unfortunately, Coventry City seem to be one of these, maybe the Saints are too!

Re: Why have Saints imploded like they have?
Our main problem is overspending. That plus the club failing to react suitably when our star defender got injured. We were told it was long term and the loss of his services made our defence to weak. Now with a large mortgage we are getting deeper into debt weekly. This means we sell anyone we have to stay afloat. Sad but true and at the moment there is no end in sight. Crowds are dwindling which doesn't help but with the win we had yesterday we are hoping to see a few more at St Marys on Saturday. Time will tell but it doesn't look as though we will find a backer to bail us out in a hurry. That means we simply have to grin and bear it. Our young kids do try and occasionally give us reason to be hopefull as to our future.
