LAMBERT TO NEWCASTLE?

With his form having nosedived in the way it has? Not likely, in my opinion but if Newcastle want a player who has not played higher than L1 and whose form has dropped faster than a WAG's knickers at the first sign of a footballer's cash, and are stupid enough to pay the asking price then they can have him if Saints can get a decent wad of money for him.

Problem is with Newcastle and Ashley there wont be wads of cash at the end of it. Rumour was Newcastle were interested in the summer but that was when Carroll hadn't come good and Lambert gone down hill. Be surprised now but as a sub might be a reasonable punt.

I wouldnt be surprised though if he came in for Lallana or Schneiderlin neither would be that expensive based on their contracts despite what Cortese says. After seeing Campbell at the weekend he needs a centre half but guess he wont come asking for Fonte thank goodness!!
