Matt Le Tissier Mini-Soccer Tournaments at St Mary's

The inaugural Matt Le Tissier Mini-Soccer Tournaments will be staged at St Mary's on Sunday 10th May 2009. The tournaments are based essentially on small-sided (7-a-side) soccer rules.

Subject to take-up, the intended format is for group games plus knockout stages of "Trophy" and "Plate" competitions for the older age groups (Under 9's,10's,11's & 12's) and friendly matches in the Under 7's and Under 8's "festival" ie in line with FA rules.

Please note that this year's age groups apply to these events.

A visit to the dressing rooms, under adult supervision, is all part of the day and all participants receive an autographed certificate from Matt to commemorate the occasion. Teams will line-up in the tunnel prior to their first match.

Raffles will be held and all of the raffle proceeds will go to Wessex Cancer Trust.
