Re: DONCASTER COMMENTARY
I can understand the grief but be careful not to start a kill them campaign. We want them all out but I still question how much Jan can do with what we have. He should not however have taken off Perry umless it was to put someone like Lancashire on in his place. Another defender at least. Smith should have played on the left wing with BWP switching to the right. Yet again the players are played out of position.
Re: DONCASTER COMMENTARY
No, no campaign of course, just my own personal feeling - quite frankly I loathe the pair of them right now. I just don't know how much longer SFC can continue like this. It is getting to the point that I'd settle for administration, take the ten point deduction and go down, but ONLY if it guaranteed we'd be rid of Lowelife, Portaloo and Quisling Wilde. Even if, by some absolute miracle we stayed up, we'd still be stuck with these clowns in charge and the whole sorry episode will be repeated next year. In fact it still will be, in League One.
I seriously don't think the team is that bad now, especially now that we have some experience in the form of Saganowski and Saeijs, but the whole thing is badly run, disastrously run in fact, and those disasters have to go. When Perry and Holmes were substituted the rest of the team had no idea where they were supposed to be, or what they were supposed to be doing and that, to my mind, is the hallmark of an alleged 'manager' who hasn't got an effing clue what he's doing! Yes, JP may be a 'nice man' but nice guys finish last and quite honestly, I am beginning to hate this so called 'nice man'. Nice man he may be but out-of-his-depth, clueless, stubborn twat he definitely IS!

Re: DONCASTER COMMENTARY
I'm waiting to hear from any poor souls that went to the match. It can't be much fun seeing the same thing over and over again. I've only seen three games so far this season and every one was the same. Play some pretty football and then collapse in a heap for the inevitable result.

Yes, I'll be interested in Teamsaint's take on this. Funny thing I was actually going to go along today, only for my dog to get ill and me having to pay vet's bills! I think the poor little thing saved me from a wasted afternoon!

Re: DONCASTER COMMENTARY
A couple of weeks ago i said that should Saints suffer one more home defeat then Rupes will feel the wrath of the humble Saints fan........i hate being right sometimes .....fans were arguing and fighting amongst themselves , which really is a TERRIBLE state of affairs......
i honestly believe that today was the beginning of the end for Lowe and his posse......the fans have been patient enough, but are now looking down the barrel of yet another relegation and who can blame them for finally making their feelings known........if i was in the stands today, i would've been one of those vocalising my discontent, that's for sure....
fan power will win,as it did with Lowe last time and Branfoot etc, but i do fear that it will be too late to halt the slide into league 1....

Re: DONCASTER COMMENTARY
Well said DH. Did you see David Armstrong was turfed out of the upstairs suites today. One of our own heroes and treated so poorly. Bloody disgraceful. The club seems to be in its death throes. And worse is the fact we seem powerless to help. Hope you didn't suffer any abuse at the hands of the angry.

Re: DONCASTER COMMENTARY
So there I was this morning feeling very positive about the day everything said to me we were going to win and win easy. So come 3 o'clock kick off I felt very confident we looked good going forward nice football plenty of chances, Doncaster didn't look like they were in it OK a couple near misses and great save by Davis.
Then slowly the fear started to creep in the feeling you get watching a game the 50/50 ball that always goes against you something is wrong very wrong what is it you can't put your finger on it then you remember you haven't seen saints win at home this season oh no not again half time comes time to reflect OK wasn't to bad least we looked good you keep saying it over and over again you smile you chat with the guys around you each one with that look in there eyes fear plain and simple. The teams come back out everyone is ready yes were going to do it today bang the balls in the back of the net offside ref you shout but hey its saints we don't get the rub off the green you look at the team they seem to be jittery OK we got a whole half to go we can do it.
Minutes tick by shoot you idiot for f**k sake they keep trying to pass the ball into the net times running out tackle him go on what the bang there 2 up game over no way back for this team then you watch the icthen something is going off saints supporters fighting amongst themselves the chants go up Lowe out you don't know what you doing Lowe out Lowe out in your ear. You getting peed off with the guy next to you what help is that doing the team no help at all. Then the northern kick off someone must off said something about how good Lowe is. So here I am watching my team going down and my fellow supporters kicking the crap out of each other 4 mins to go bang we got a goal you get the feeling just maybe but the seconds tick by frantic football is not good for you the whistle goes gutted we lost again least were away at Norwich next you say then you hear the scores Norwich win by 4 forest win etc. etc. dam were bottom were not getting out of this gut feeling now were doomed more ways then one I can't see a great escape this time around the club I have supported since 68 is going to be history we go down administration will come quick on its heels. I ask my dad hey we going to bother getting season tickets next year he shrugs his shoulders son it won't be worth it but you know we do it because as the saying goes im Southampton tell I die.

Re: DONCASTER COMMENTARY
Harrowing very Harrowing. Pagan I am very sad today and there is only one way out. There is more but sorry to say I am a Saint till the end. So the only way out has to be a run of home wins. That is where we seem to start having a problem. We just don't have enough bottle to win a game at home. How can we get rid of the leach that is running this club and sucking the life blood out of it.
Re: DONCASTER COMMENTARY
The club is rotten from top to bottom........I'll go back to the 'Amusement corner' I think ;)

Re: DONCASTER COMMENTARY
had to intervene with two guys havin a go at each other.....one (who'd been a STH since the 60's) who expressed his views about Lowe and the other who thought he should shut up and get behind the team........they were not abusive to me (luckily, or i might have had to become one of those 'heavy-handed stewards 'you hear soooooo much about ;) ) LOLMrs SFC wrote:Well said DH. like i said to the guy tho, it's very difficult, coz every fan is frustrated and angry (if they aren't then they are not true fans IMO) but some show their malcontent quietly whilst others are decidedly more vocal, and with passions flowing as much as they did today, it was inevitable that there would be clashes......i just hope that today's events serve to unite the fanbase in a common goal..........

Re: DONCASTER COMMENTARY
I agree DH. I have posted on the largest Saints site where we know abuse is rife and the feelings on there are not friendly. This little site is like a sanctuary and helps at times by just being here. Long may we continue in the same vein. My hope now is that we can rise like the phoenix from the ashes of our once great club to its previous position of health. Someone somewhere has to be in the wings waiting to resurrect this club. I can't believe that we are going to go down much farther. Help has to be around the corner.

size is just like killer but looks like claus. fantastic headerer of the ball, put himself in front of everything, scared of nobody and nothing, surprised he has lasted 30 years without his head being knocked off. i would say that he gets caught ball watching too often though
we basically played 4-4-2. made no difference with wingers on the wrong side and lightweight centre mid though
saga looked quite sharp and got a goal

I will always support Saints, but after this match I am now realising that relegation is a probability this season. Until now I had thought we were having a temporary blip.....

Re: DONCASTER COMMENTARY
Good picks Mike. Trouble is we are all starting to think along the same lines. I really think that Lowe is running out of time. My main concern is that he is likely to hang on for as long as he can and then where will we be? A new man is likely to want a new manager but who would want to come to a club that has such serious problems both on and off the pitch.

I really think that if Lowe and Wilde, etc, were to leave (and take Portaloo the Clueless with them) and some new people came in that could be the end of the worst of the club's problems. A new man in charge might persuade a new manager that Saints have made a clean start and that is exactly what is needed. If Lowe hangs on in there then he will kill the club. Lowe and his cronies are the problem.
