silly money
Does'nt mater what they pay for him, it won't make him a better player. And the whole time that he is training or on the pitch, he is a heartbeat away from a serious injury, just the same as all the rest. The 100 million won't be worth buttons then!

Re: silly money
I read he could, if he signs for Manchester City, get a ludicrous £500,000 a week. Half a million quid a week is just insane.

Re: silly money
Sorry but I have to disagree. It is not just insane. IT IS OBSCENE AND AN INSULT TO THE NORMAL EVERYDAY FANS. How can anyone justify such a preposterous figure for a mere mortal. Kaka could so easily get his leg broken by a rough, jealous tuppence halfpenny player out to prove a point. We have a few well known nutters in the league and they won't take kindly to seeing such downright pig ignorance being shown by these arabs. If they want to make a point then they should take a club and build it from the bottom. Throwing money around like confetti will only harm our game. Especially when the money is all heading overseas and out of our game.
If Kaka is worth £175 million how much is Ronaldo worth? After all he was voted best player in the world only days ago. City are in a similar position to us albeit in a higher league. They leak goals like they were a desperate necessity. These money moguls have no idea and must get fed up with the game and then what? City will crash like no team has ever crashed before. This money will kill our game unless the authorities do something about this problem quickly. Other countries have caps on expenditure and I feel we need something similar. Little clubs will get smaller as these one or two moneymen destroy the game for everyone.
If these oil rich people have too much money then they should drop the price of oil to a much more agreeable level. Let governments all over the world use engineering knowledge to bring us comparable standard electric cars. Stop the purchace of oil and guess what the price will drop so far that even the poorest countries would be able to afford it. No footballer has ever been important enough to be worth such an obscene amount and god forbid never will. Let's see someone bring some sense back please before our game is destroyed for a long time if not for ever.

Well said, SFC Forever. A contender for January Post of the Month, I think.

Re: silly money
Surprise surprise Kaka is staying put. Hughes could be out of a job very soon as there seems to be some discord in the dressing room. What chance someone like Chelsea bidding for Robinho.
