PLYMOUTH COMMENTARY
I hope and pray that Plymouth eat so much that they can't raise a gallop. Please let someone pick a team capable of a win.

Try giving them some of your food that will work

It'll be more likely that our lot will look like they have stuffed themselves so much they can't move on Boxing Day...

Being serious for a moment, will there be any other sufferers with me on here, praying for a result.
Re: PLYMOUTH COMMENTARY
With Forest playing Doncaster we could be in bottom 3 again tonight without this result going our way.

Re: PLYMOUTH COMMENTARY
Saints: Davis, James, Cork, Lancashire, Skacel, Gillett, Gobern, Smith, Holmes, Surman, McGoldrick. Subs: Forecast, Mills, Pearce, McLaggon, Paterson
It's almost like a reserves team, but they've got my confidence because with Holmes and Smith on the wing at least we have a balanced midfield which we have been missing for months! I am wondering whether Gobern or Surman will play in the hole ?

Re: PLYMOUTH COMMENTARY
You've beaten me to it TS Don't know what to make of it. Would have liked to see some of these changes made before now. Still got McGormless playing I see. Perhaps he will do something with the two wingers hopefully supplying crosses.

I would imagine it will be Drew 'in-the-hole' given that Oscar has featured at CB in the reserves this season and Drew is at least capable of scoring goals. I guess they could swap around though.
Having seen this team I am now even more nervous about this match than I already was.

This was the reserve team from Monday's match against Exeter:
Saints Res: Forecast, Imudia, Lancashire (Hatch 46), Mills, Thomson, Pulis (McNish 46), Gillett (Gobern 46), Gasmi (Dunford 46), McLaggon, Smith (Boyle 46), Robertson (Paterson 46).
Eight of that 16 (half of them) are in today's match day 16! So yes, it is like a reserve team!!!!!!

Re: PLYMOUTH COMMENTARY
Norwich and Watford lost while Charlton drew. So, that's good for us so far, but will mean nothing if we don't get a win today.

Re: PLYMOUTH COMMENTARY
Saints looking ropey at the back - as usual - nearly conceded and would have if it hadn't been for Davis - as usual.

Re: PLYMOUTH COMMENTARY
seemed to be saints in control for the first half hour or so, but struggling to turn all the possession into chances with only mcgoldrick's header from 3 yards which was saved being of note. plymouth came back into the game and scored. it seems as though saints are at least using the wing and getting to the byline. we need to get players attacking crosses and getting into the danger zone. COYR!
