ticket prices
ticket prices for the fa cup 3rd round are £30 pounds for adults
perhaps i wont be going after all as i cant see how they can justify charging £6 pound extra
bang goes the full house we were expecting
but i will see what santa brings me :suspect:

Re: ticket prices
Don't it make you laugh. Can't be bothered to watch and keep us afloat, but a name team and they suddenly want to be Saints supporters.
Re: ticket prices
in all fairness £30 is a reasonable price...Palace supporters are charged £34.50 to watch CCC football!!! http://www.cpfc.co.uk/page/Prices/0,,10323,00.html
and don't forget that Rupert did not make this decision alone, Man U AND Saints had to agree a ticket price between them..........it's probably the price you would have to pay for a league game IF we were still in the premiership.....

Re: ticket prices
Fair comment DH. Still hurts when we are not really expecting to do well. But as you say it is not just our decision.
Re: ticket prices
I thought that maybe ST holders would have got a £5.00 discount rather than being able to purchase an extra ticket.

would've been good if they'd done something like that to repay the loyalty of the ST holders, but if i understand the rules correctly SFC are not allowed to offer deals to home fans and not away fans.....correct me if i'm wrong, but i think that's what i've heard ...
(maybe a voucher for a £5 discount in the megastore or something, or a pint and a programme perhaps)

Re: ticket prices
I think in all fairness a second ticket to ST's is a good offer. Especially as a lot of people will be wanting to go.
Re: ticket prices
was speaking to a friend's husband ,who is a STH in the Kingsland, and he is up in arms as the ticket office sold his seat to a neighbouring ST holder who bought a 2nd ticket !!!!
he is NOT a happy bunny, i can assure you!!!

I agree, but I suppose it will be much needed revenue for the club. I won't be among 'em I am afraid as I am not interested in seeing either Manchester United or us being annihilated by same and I can't afford it.

Re: ticket prices
That is a fair comment as I won't be able to afford it either.
I do think that with us likely to have a full ground STH's could have been given the choice of where to sit away from their seats if buying two. Presumably the whole ground will be used as a bumper crowd is expected. A lot of STH's will have come from those ends anyway originally and the computors will surely have the records in place. Or is that asking to much from our club to manage..
