IT'S VERY TIGHT.....

I don't think I remember the League ever being as tight as this after 3 games. Despite winning at Brighton, Saints remain in the relegation zone.......... but 19th place on 3 points is just 1 point behind 5th place on 4 points!!

Disappointing that Newcastle and Villa won but Sheff Utd and Norwich losing at home was good.

League never settles down until about 6 matches, promoted teams still on high especially at home which is where they will survive or not. So far Norwich look like their home record may keep them up, and will score goals there. I think Sheff Utd will struggle and also Villa. Newcastle, us, Watford Brighton, Burnley and Bournemouth all pretty much similar in that will have some good games and some bad ones. These are the home games we need to win.

Watford the surprise at the moment, with their chairman a sacking quite possible
