AWARD TIME!!
As the only one of us who gets to any matches, I think we should look to you to choose the Southampton World Saints' Player of the Season Matty!! Who is it to be?
And how about a Goal of the Season too??

Re: AWARD TIME!!
for player of the season think you and Pete should have a say, you have seen the away game highlights on tv so will have as good a view as I do.
Actually quite hard this season as a few were almost non existent in early part of the season yet second half really strong. Based on the whole season think I would go for
1. Hojberg
2. Redmond
3. Bedanek
Very close for top two, on overall performance probably just Hojberg but his red cards were a downside and Redmond's attitude has been much improved this season

Re: AWARD TIME!!
Yes, I would go for Hojberg for sheer consistency. Followed by Redmond who seemed to improve greatly as the season progressed (or was it because of the Hughes departure ?) Third place would also be Bednarek who is very promising.
Valery would be hands down for the best young player.

Re: AWARD TIME!!
Oh well Redmond doesn't deserve to be beaten 3-0 so I'll vote for him. Hoiberg 2 votes, Redmond 1
Valery has done really well but I'll make a competition of it and go for Angus Gunn. Valery 2 votes, Gunn 1
Most-improved player of the season? My vote to Ward-Prowse

Re: AWARD TIME!!
Agree with the Most Improved going to Ward Prowse, hope he can carry on next season
