3 - 2 home win. No Hojberg with suspension but assume Lemina will start in his place, not sure will be any other changes as winning.

Fairly clear that Gabbadini will be leaving in January, think Hoedt and Davis as well , hopefully Forster, possibly Long as well, I think he prefers Austin to Long and if Obefemi is in squad may as well let one of Long/Austin leave.

So possibly 5 out the door reckon 2 in, a CB and ideally a striker but would be surprised if a midfield player that RH knows and a box yo box type player.

Looks like a few players available Sonke, Batsushi (Chelsea), Cahill so will be interesting to see who we go for.

No vibes yet for this one.....

Was just reading that Sky have previously shown 8 Premier League games on Thursdays.....and not one of them has been a home win. There have been 4 away wins and 4 draws. So hoping Saints can make history!!

No idea at the moment what will happen in the January transfer window. If Saints wait to sell before buying, I imagine any buying will be a mad scramble before the window closes.

I think the last minute transfer window scramble might not be the style of Ralph the manager, think he will identify what he wants early on and expect them to be signed. I might be wrong but think Gao will back him as doubt will be as expensive as the ones Reed always went after. Probably exits will be a bit of a shambles right at the end but doubt Ralph will not be to worried and those not in his plans will know that.

Probably a stupid idea, but I'd rather like to see how Boufal re-acted under HRH, I've always felt that guy had talent and the team's new style of play might bring it out of him??

Tadic has been on fire since leaving Saints and it would be heartbreaking to see something similar happen with Boufal......

Don't think Boufal would have the work rate for us now, always had an attitude problem and think that wont change whoever his manager is. Tadic is on fire in the Dutch league which is a lot easier, another one who would have struggled with the style where everyone has to work. No doubt both are talented and we only saw it in patches but RH has a team plan that everyone has to play to, that is why Gabbadini will be gone in a few weeks which is a shame as think he would have benefitted if he had been willing to work harder when not in possession but juts not his style.

Carillo is an interesting one in that could he do a job for us under RH management? Never really got a chance before and Hughes decided pretty early on not for him.

Thanks Matty, I respect your opinion. Are there any others out on loan who you feel could fit into the HRH style? Clasie, Hesketh, Reed, McQueen?
