Can Saints show the grit and passion to win this or will it be yet another weak surrender??

Really hard to say how it will go, though I think it might define our season. A gritty performance with either a draw or a win may add to confidence and a platform to build, a defeat and raises the prospect of MP being sacked, probably last weekend for this to happen so if they lose and he isn't sacked then he will take us down. The lack of goals is our problem, if Hoedt and Cedric are back and with Hojberg and Romeau in decent form think we should be quite good defensively but our lack of goals is what is stopping us from turning draws into wins.

Going for a 1-1 draw

Well, a draw it was but feels like a defeat when 2 up at half time. Sounds as though it was a similar story to a number of recent games.....the better team in the first half, but out-played second half.

Yeah same old story, think it is now 9 games where we had taken the lead but failed to win the game. That does to me indicate a problem with the manager, as well as some of the players. It does also show that the squad is not that bad but MP either has to be sacked and replaced with someone who can instil a belief and tactically astute, or bring in an experienced assistant to help him. To be fair to the manager I think Reed has totally let him down, still no signings, another week gone, games going. VVD money supposedly staged over 3 seasons, no linkage to either Sturridge or Ings in the "negotiations" just shows how poor Reed is yet promotes himself and his cronies (Hunter, Watson etc)

Not going to happen but I would get rid of Reed now, along with Hunter who has ruined the Academy and bring in Mitchell.

Interesting to note that Reed's son started working for an Agency now saints academy players appear to being pressured into signing for that Agency, and apparently those that sign are receiving higher salaries. No doubt nothing illegal but hardly ethical with the family direct connection to a Director of the club, makes you wonder who else benefits financially. Unfortunately no one in the club in a position to do anything and a Chairman who has no idea what he has taken on. Bring back Cortese to sort out the leeches sucking the blood (money and spirit) out of the club for their own egos and benefit
