well he is clearly not worried about upsetting players or hierarchy as has fallen out at his two clubs, but he has a very high win ratio. Suspect he might be tempted, two years here then take over at Arsenal. My tip is Pellegerini from Alves but not in anyone's betting. Left the club at weekend, Argentinian, initials MP, worked in Spain, all the credentials. He can do well then in tow years leave for spuds

Only Paddy Power giving any odds, Tuchel 7/1 second favourite behind Gary Monk on 17/10

Re: WOULD SAINTS TOUCH TUCHEL?
Just wish they would get a move on and either sack Puel or back him, yet again another end of season when Reed and the saints hierarchy seem to be indecisive. If replacing him make the offer and get it done if not say so and get some players in now and not wait until the end of the transfer window as seems to be the "Southampton way"

I really do hope that they won't agree to give Puel part of next season to prove himself......changing managers mid-season rarely seems to work out well.

but I can see the appeal for Reed, wouldn't have to make a decision now, can say wanted to give him his chance then no choice. Certainly doesn't work long terms as players are already there and new manager is just about organising and motivating, little option with style. Still perhaps Reed is thinking give it a go by November if looking in trouble bring in Alladyce for 6 months, he will keep us up then start again, suspect that looks like a Plan A and a Plan B for Reed

Re: WOULD SAINTS TOUCH TUCHEL?
Unbelievable how Reed can drag this out, if you want to sack him have the guts to do it not try and see if St Etienne give you an escape route by offering him a job. If they have spoken to others and not interested then keep the guy but make a bloody decision. You can see why Reed was a perfect fit in the FA. How long did he take to sign Koeman, weeks, How long did Pochitino leaving run on , weeks if not months.

Re: WOULD SAINTS TOUCH TUCHEL?
Well not going very well, I had thought delay in around announcing Puel was sacked due to sorting out the replacement so could be named almost immediately. seems not to be the se and drawing up a sort list before interviewing. De Boer, Pellegrino and a "mystery" man supposedly a German. De Boar doesn't impress me as thing quite dour and lasted just a few months at Inter Milan, though guess VVD may be happy. Pellegrino is a bit of an unknown. Hopefully the mystery man is not Klinsman or Giggs in a German shirt

Re: WOULD SAINTS TOUCH TUCHEL?
Why is Patrick Vieira suddenly odds-on (4/11) favourite with Betfair??
Re: WOULD SAINTS TOUCH TUCHEL?
He could well be the mystery man. Seems popular if not achieved a lot out in MLS, at least he is learning his trade a opposed Giggs waiting fro a premier league job. Would be a gamble and if he does well would be obviously Wenger's replacement, seems a tie up between Man City his last club and MLS side as owned by the same people
