He is a Right back and plenty others we can sign, if he is not going to sign a new contract from us the £30m and whoever wants him can have him. You would think they would learn when you look at what has happened to Shaw, Lovren, Lallana and Lambert but Rickie aside I think most premier footballers are simply greedy gits who simply cannot have to much money. The talk of a short career is rubbish as most earn stupid money from 18 onwards, a 3 year contract in football is what most people earn in a lifetime. Simply greed but nothing we will do to change that.

Also though Clyne's performances have gone down hill last half dozen matches

The problem with your post Matty, is that I can't see us getting £30m as Clyne's contract ends soon. I am worried the club will let him go for nearer £10m.

Not a hope at £10m if both Chelsea and Man U are in for him, they may as well keep him if only £10m, though Clyne did run his contract down at Palace. Difference is he may have an option of signing for clubs who will pay him double/treble his money, does he want to risk getting injured in the 12 months left on his contract and losing that opportunity? We should play hard ball with his agent, point to JRod's injury and at least get a decent fee, £30m may be excessive but Manure can afford it and we should set minimum as £20m but possibly look for 12 month loan deals for any of their players, bound to be a striker at Chelsea that we could use.

See that prat Brenda has bid for Clyne , £10m, the guy is a joke and Liverpool are destined for me to finish outside of top 6 next season if they keep the dimwit in charge. No doubt Lallana has been on the phone as well lying about how wonderful life in Liverpool is, just wait a couple of month and he will be the last saint there with Lambert and Lovren sold.

Quite simple Les keep rejecting until a club gets close to £20m that should be the selling price, they don't have to buy and we don't have to sell unless it meets our valuation, especially as 3 months before transfer window closes. Buy in Trippier as need cover for RB and wait to see if other bids come in, quite sure as Clyne in English and the new rules other actual top clubs will come in with a bid but still think if Arsenal win the cup he could sign a new contract, but suspect will have a buy out clause included
