Re: WHY CAN'T SAINTS SCORE??
Firstly I believe Lambert not being in the box is a major factor, no point crossing if no one there and Rickie to often is out wide not in the box. He doesn't seem fussed about scoring always passing when a striker would just go for goal.
Second to much time trying to tee up and not enough courage to have a go, coached out of them?
Third no proven goal scorer in midfield, Morgan, Corkie, Wanyama, Ramerez, Davis all have a poor ratio for scoring goals because they rarely get in position to do so

Re: WHY CAN'T SAINTS SCORE??
Certainly the reluctance to shoot seems to be a mentality that runs throughout the side as if they think if not a striker not my job. personally while the midfield have been good we do lack a very good attacking midfield player aside from Adam. Davis, Schneiderlin, Cork, Ward Prowse, Guly Wanyama and Ramirez (8 players) have managed 10 between them)
Our transfer activity has not been good either Mayuka, Osvaldo didn't deliver either so suggest we need to see what worked, JRod, and buy similar, young British player even if in lower division that has proved can score

If you could turn back time which of the players coming into the club in the last couple of years would you have signed had you known in advance how the move would turn out?
I'm inclined to think the signings of JRod, Lovren, Clyne, Boruc and Davis were worthwhile...... yet about Wanyama.
Re: WHY CAN'T SAINTS SCORE??
would agree with your names but for me Wanyama will prove a good buy something we didn't have, a strong defensive midfield player, Yoshida wasn't bad for the money we paid.
Just wish we had signed Bony instead of Osvaldo and Courtinho instead of Ramirez, if we had no extra money and think we would be where Everton are challenging for top 4
