Re: SUNDERLAND AWAY
Blimey back to talking football! Guess it will depend on the players mentally, no doubt the training has been thrown of course this week and in those circumstances think could be a real problem. That said possible Poch will fire them up to say "do it for Nicola" which may prove the key.
I will go for a draw, dodgy start falling behind but late rally to secure a point.

Re: SUNDERLAND AWAY
It would make for a pretty great day if Kat were to go to the match, and be seen on TV or in photos mixing happily with the players.........followed by Saints thumping Sunderland by at least 4 goals!!
Realistically I am inclined to agree with you Matt that a draw could well be the outcome.....but fingers crossed we might manage a win please!

Re: SUNDERLAND AWAY
well was a draw but round the other way, started on fire and if we hadn't conceded immediately after we got our second would have won comfortably, still looked the more likely to win until they equalised then as expected back to the wall stuff.
Biggest concern will be the injuries to Lovren and Ramirez, two key players that we need though at least Osvaldo should be available again

Re: SUNDERLAND AWAY
The injuries looked pretty horrible and hope they aren't serious.
Really, Saints had only themselves to blame for not winning this........they should have been 4 or 5 up by half-time.

This doesn't look too good at all.

Re: SUNDERLAND AWAY
No its not good Pete, Lovren and Fonte have been a good partnership, Fonte and Yoshida will be okay but not as good, but anything which includes Hoovield will be a disaster. Hopefully the return of Wanyama will provide some protection to the back 4 but definitely need to get a CB in either on loan or brought in permanent, we do need another CH anyhow as Jos will be gone end of the season and Yoshida would have gone this window I think if we had not had the injuries.

Re: SUNDERLAND AWAY
Problem is over this period are the games where we should pick up the points to get very close to the 40 points and keep the gap from the other teams. If we don't pick up points in these games, Fulham, Hull and West Ham away and Stoke at home then we have tough games to come then all of a sudden players & fans start panicking. With our full team we could have picked up 8 points as well as keeping teams down the bottom down the bottom, different prospect without Lovren and hope Yoshida and Fonte stay fit
