A little surprised at this. Although he is not prem standard, we do not have much cover for central defence and seems strange we are letting him go.

I suspect will be on immediate call back, at present will only have 1 CH on the bench which will be hoovield so getting him some games to build match fitness probably not bad plus they may have decided to release him in January with another CH lined up so a chance to put in the shop window.

If one of the main CH get injured may be called back but then they may think Stephens is good enough

Any news on how Martin's loan period is going?

Think has only made 5 appearances so that isnt that helpful, though think did pick up an injruy as well
