Do friends have a pet name or nickname for you?

My Texas friends call me Tbird.

At school were you well-behaved or how did you get in trouble?

I have always liked learning but I do not like following directions or wasting my time.
I love to read. I liked school a lot as long as I thought it was a good book...

What hobbies do you pursue?

Yoga, flea markets and making soup. I like to surf, but I don't get to very often. I used to have a garden, but now I live in a city.
I just like making things.

Do you drive? What would be your ideal car to drive?

Something vintage.

If you were offered a part in a TV series, which series would you choose?

I don't like TV. I think I'd rather be a writer not on TV.

Do you have any pets?

For many years, I had a good dog named Lucy who raised me and sat at my feet when I was writing. We traveled all around together. She died three years ago and it will be a long time before I have another dog.

If you had not become famous what jobs would you have liked to do?

This is it, baby. I'm a writer.

What musical instruments do you play?

I play piano & guitar by ear.

In 25 years from now what would you like to be doing?

I would like to be writing on a farm in an old house with a very old garden and some animals. I'd like my loved ones around me and friends to come over for dinner often. I'd like to be able to spend time now and then in Paris or a city with lots of arts. I'd like to feel good at what I do and that I had lived a life of love and integrity.
