Luckily, there are not many pictures of me on the net! Ha, there is the very old one from a BBC website that Mike has copied up above but that's really about it - I hope

Re: MARC RYAN-JORDAN
I saw Rough Skin on Channel 4 last week and you showed a lot of quality in your acting. Do you feature in the future weeks or won't we see you on the series again?

You have acted in some of my favourite TV series....Peak Practice, Holby City, The Bill etc. You must have met and acted with a number of famous actors and actresses. Can you tell us about the parts you played and what you thought of the famous actors you met?

No, these are 7 very independent films for up & coming directors & writers (hence Coming Up Series). Some are brilliant! I'm very lucky!

I've never had the pleasure, the closest I have been that far south was Dartmouth whilst shooting down to earth, lovely relaxed place!

If I'm honest, the larger parts have been very similar, bad lad, rough background, but we love him really - loveable rogue as I call them. So as far as acting was concerned I never felt truly challenged. The other actors were all very nice & i've never had an issue with any ego.
You have to remember that they are just people who do a different job. I don't expect special treatment & neither do they.

Life story - wow!
I was raised in a mining town with a mining family background. My dad worked from apprentice to being his dad's boss... You can imagine that a work ethic like this rubs off. From 7years old I was great with numbers and money. I once halved my Xmas Santa list after working out the cost! I asked for a paper-round that year and was told I was too young! At age 11 I had 2 on the go in the morning & 1 afternoon!
I tried everything as a kid, football, trampolining, hockey & then acting, getting into stage at around 12. I performed a few shows but stage was never for me. So I auditioned for the Nottingham Workshop. 19 places from 1500 apps & i got in.
That yr a kid who looked like me was fired from Peak Practice so i took his job. The producer didn't like me really but once they left I got some meaty stories & signed an agent
From 16 i was never at home, my mum once saw me packing a bag & asked where are you off, i simply replied Tenerife, & with that I went! I always did what I wanted, travelling to Nottingham at 13, to London at 15 then abroad at 16 & 17, sleeping on floors & doing what I needed.
My mum & dad have always supported me, let me have my wings & caught me when I've fallen - I owe them everything, but my ambition knows no bounds! If I want something, I go for it. failure is not an option. I truly believe if you work hard enough, you can do anything. Just ask my friends, Vicky McClure, Toby Kebbell, Lauren Socha (all Bafta winners or nominees) all from the workshop, all from similar backgrounds!
I gave up acting at 23 to raise my 2 girls & get a mortgage (cos actors can't have them!) I worked 12 hours a day at my dads company for 5 yrs, going to college & getting top marks in a HNC mech engineering to become a Project Manager. I started my own drama school & prod company at the same time, often working in total, 20 hours per day. The school isn't doing great but we have a major contract for 179 schools coming in September.
Me & my business partner Lee Otway are pitching new ideas to TV channels & writing for London producers as well as auditioning and self-promoting = this time next year Rodney!
My wife Laura has stood by me for 10years. we finally tied the knot in March. Well overdue! Without her continued support, I would not be able to do or achieve the things I am doing now! I took 5yrs to build us a foundation, she has dedicated her life to helping me achieve my dream! I can never repay that! She is amazing, my muse, my driver, my hardest critic & constant support!
There's not really much else! I feel like I've bored whoever has managed to read on till the end! Sorry!
