Re: GULY TRANSFER?..............HE'S SIGNED!!
I think once Guly has got to grips with the English game and our 'delightful' winter climate, he'll do a good job. I've not seen him play although I have heard plenty about him, some people rate him, others think he's crap which probably means he's one of those frustrating to watch players. From what I've heard, while he misses the odd sitter, he does do a good job linking up the play and would be a good signing.

Re: GULY TRANSFER?..............HE'S SIGNED!!
I am one of those not convinced about Guly having seen him a few times. Think we play him slightly out of position as think he has been central midfield most of his career. We play him out wide or as a striker. He isnt a striker which is why he misses those sitters but he does do some good link play.
If hes available on a free then might be worth as a squad player but dont think he would be my 1st choice if playing away to Tranmere midweek in February!
I would prefer some experienced youngsters from lower league who have ability to grow with the club and that is where Adkins has shown his ability at previous clubs.

It sounds as if GDP has found his feet, scored two goals on Saturday and another one today. Sign him up, Saints!*
*I hope he's not playing for a contract and reverts to being crap if he gets one.

Wouldnt be the first one would he, we will need 4 strikers at least for remainder of season and if he can bang in the goals would have him in squad providing the price is right, around £100k would be ok anymore and would look to Adkins to pick up some lower league talent.

Good news as Guly has settled into the side recently and gives us further options. Hope he keeps up his performance now contract signed!
