Re: DANNY BUTTERFIELD
What The Ugly Inside have to say about it:
Saints have signed former Crystal Palace player Danny Butterfield, aged 30 Butterfield is primarily a right back, but is also able to play either on the right of midfield or in the centre and will be a useful replacement for Lloyd James who was also able to cover all of those positions.
Butterfeld is perhaps best known for his hat trick for Palace against Wolves in last seasons FA Cup whilst playing as a makeshift striker, dubbed a perfect hat trick in that he scored with both left & right feet as well as with his head, certainly he is experience Saints could do with, being he has played in both the Premier and Championship in his 8 years with the Eagles, with perhaps the only question mark over his signing being that turning 31 in November age is not on his side.

Re: DANNY BUTTERFIELD
looks like cover for the RB position with the option to use in midfield, guess will see a lot of the bench but will need a strong squad.
still looking for the quality midfield player and another striker but may well be loan signings but they will be in August.

Re: DANNY BUTTERFIELD
Good reports on Butterfield from Palace fans. Obviously popular there, bit of a character in the dressing room and seems happy to play wherever asked. Could be a good acquisition team wise, sometimes the best signings are not the most expensive!

Re: DANNY BUTTERFIELD
Played against Sochaux in our 2-0 defeat. Played well apparently and looked composed as well. I can easily see him fighting for a first team place.
