England - Can it get any worse
Okay slightly loose connection to saints but we have Crouch in the squad. Just how useless were we tonight. Heskey wont score if he stays in SA for the rest of his life, Rooney was awful then has the cheek to slag off the fans , Lampard hardly appeared, Lennon a joke and the rest were hardly any better.
What was up with Cappello for not changing it when clearly wasn't working. Crouchie gets 8 minutes and Joe Cole can't even get of the bench. can't see us beating Slovenia unless Cappello sees the light and changes his starting 11. He should have taken Lambert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: England - Can it get any worse
It was depressing and embarrassing. Why are we so woeful all of a sudden? The qualifiers were great but come the pre-tournament warm-up games and the group stages and we are suddenly absolute garbage. You can't say the players are tired or jaded as the other teams' players have no problems. And what is the point of Heskey, Shyte-Phillips and Lampard?

Re: England - Can it get any worse
Last WC, Walcott should not have gone. This WC, he should not have been left at home.
But he is not there. I am a huge Lampard fan. but he must still be on the flight out cos he has done fark all. Rooney is getting paid £100,000 a week but doesn't think he should work for it.
"They are under too much pressure from the people and media at home," they say. Yeah, and Argentina, Holland, Italy and Brazil are not I suppose.
Of course I will still support them, but right now I feel I have nothing to support.

Re: England - Can it get any worse
The Walcott scenario I can accept. But SWP can't get a game with Man City who are playing A Johnson. What do we see, SWP play and AJ sent home. Where is the logic. parker of WHU is another that I would have had in my team.
Re: England - Can it get any worse
Have to agree I can't see how SWP gets picked ahead of Joe Cole. Little pace, final ball not great and rarely scores which is why he doesnt start for Man City.
Still if he comes on and scores the winner on Sunday he will be my hero!!

Re: England - Can it get any worse
Well we can blame the ref and lino for an appalling decision but doesn't hide the fact that this bunch of over paid, arrogant players who money is king failed miserably. defensively awful, Johnson and Terry dire, Upson not much good but then we all know that he's not that good. Rooney one big chip on his shoulder and yet again losing so we bring on Shrek's buddy Heskey who couldn't score if on the goal line!
Just a bunch of individuals who had no desire and after jetting for a luxury holiday away from such plebs as fans will come back raring to go for the new premiership when they suddenly regain their form as the massive pay checks go into the bank account. Hope 4 or 5 premiership clubs go under this year and HMRC pursue all of them to liquidation. Maybe then some sanity will prevail, wages get reduced to what clubs can actually afford which will see an exodus of the foreign mercenaries and create some room for English born players to get a chance.
Players a major let down and disappointed in Cappello who seemed unable to change it on the pitch when not working and he must be the only one in the country that sees anything in Heskey.

What he says. England are an embarrassing disappointment.
