SCOTT ARFIELD
This is on a Scottish sports website this morning:
"Falkirk midfielder Scott Arfield could be on the move with both Huddersfield Town and Southampton having expressed an interest in the player, reports BBC Sport.
The 21-year-old has made over 100 appearances for the Bairns since 2007.
However, despite relegation from the SPL, the Westfield club are keen to hold on to their players.
"Just because Falkirk have been relegated does not mean we will be selling any player on the cheap," a club source told BBC Scotland.
"For any player sold during the summer we will be looking for the full market value of the player."

Re: SCOTT ARFIELD
Think we were linked with him during January transfer window so papers just probably looking for something to fill the sports pages with no games to report on.

Re: SCOTT ARFIELD
It looks as if he is heading to Huddersfield. On the Echo website (and they always get it right).
Falkirk have given Huddersfield permission to talk to star midfielder Scott Arfield.
The 21-year-old, who has also been linked with a summer switch to Saints, looks certain to leave the Bairns this summer following their relegation from the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.
Managing director George Craig said of Huddersfield's interest: "We have given them permission to talk to Scott.
"A number of clubs have expressed an interest and Huddersfield have followed that up, we have had some discussions and they are ahead of the game."
Hibernian and Hamilton both had bids for Arfield rejected last summer, Southampton reportedly came close to buying him in January while Hearts have also been linked with the Scotland Under-21 international.
"Other clubs have asked to be kept informed," said Craig of the player, who has made more than 100 appearances for the Bairns since 2007.
Craig confirmed Falkirk and Huddersfield were "not too far away" from agreeing a fee, but told BBC Scotland: "It is not just about the two clubs agreeing a fee.
"It is a big decision for Scott and it has got to be the right club for him."

Re: SCOTT ARFIELD
Will have too see if NC is willing to match the fee but might be baulking at £400k. Falkirk fans states "Scott is powerfull he can run at players through the middle which is exciting and he is a faultless penalty taker. Also scores the odd screamer. "
Apart from penalties where he won't get a look in does sound like the sort of player we could use but not cheap for someone unproven in this league, Chaplow might be cheaper.

Re: SCOTT ARFIELD
I would have taken him in January and paid the price. He is the type of player we need to tuff it out at some of the ugly games we will have to play.
