Re: SWINDON POST-MATCH REACTION
Frustrating, annoying, inconsistent...are just three words I can think of to describe Saints and this performance. We run out of ideas against teams who are either hard-working or stubborn and it does my head in. If we want to get out of this league next season we need to stop the inconsistencies and learn how to break these teams down. Stop the stupid mistakes, too.
I listened on the radio and I kept hearing the name of some obscure individual called Charlie Austin who, as Solent saw fit to keep reminding the listeners, played for Poole Town until recently; so much so that I wanted one of our players to clatter the little bastard - hard. Needless to say, said little bastard scored the winner. But we can't blame a Joe Nobody for our own team's failings, namely inconsistency, a lack of ideas and a failure to deal with annoying, stubborn or attritional teams like Swindon or Tranmere.
