WALSALL BUILD UP
Alan Pardew seems fairly confident that Morgan Schneiderlin will be available for the game this saturday. Dan Seaborne may also be ready so could be on the bench. David Connolly, it is hoped by AP, will start training next week and Murty will be out for a good while yet. Lloyd James needs a couple of weeks rest which will hopefully get him through the rest of the season before having an operation.
This could mean an unchanged team again.

Re: WALSALL BUILD UP
Depending on my health I would love to see puncheon play on our turf. By all accounts he is rated so maybe he will be able to show us why.
Re: WALSALL BUILD UP
This game is going to be more important than ever when you consider we have Huddersfield three days later. 6 points from these two games and we will be able to look at next season with a bit more confidence. 4 points would still be ok but slightly disappointing.
Re: WALSALL BUILD UP
We need to get he confidence back after Tuesday.
I'm confident of a win , 3-1

Re: WALSALL BUILD UP
To be honest I wouldn't be at all surprised to see us go on the rampage. It is about time we really scored a few in a game and I just have this feeling we are going to very soon.
Re: WALSALL BUILD UP
Its worrying but I also have a feeling might see a bit of a backlash to today and expecting at least 3 goals and I want to see Puncheon bring something to midfield.
I was critical the other night when Antonio started in midfield as hadnt realised James was out for a couple of weeks as thought he does okay in midfield especially in away games. Hope he cam get fit soon as provides us with options in midfield. If we are winning I like the optiion of bringing Wotton on to stop the other side but wouldn't really want to start him.
Felt terrible last night having been on train from Bristol to Soton, FGW the crappiest train company in the world but not so bad this morning so will definitely be there today, might not be singing quite as much as normal.

Re: WALSALL BUILD UP
I'm being a total plastic (again) as I can't afford to go over to the match, but I am listening to the Solent commentary (which I hope is a LOT better than their abject effort in midweek) and I feel we'll get the points.

Re: WALSALL BUILD UP
Oh bloody hell, great start. Saints concede a free kick ten yards out and Walsall duly score.
