Can we do another power show against the Wycombe boys. They also had a good win yesterday so could be pumped up for our visit.

Anything less than a comfortable win would certainly be a failure.

If we beat Wycombe well as we did Norwich we should have another big crowd for Walsall. Wycombe had a good win at home to Millwall yesterday and will be fired up to face the Saints. We should have no fear of them and now we are starting to look like a real team we should win this with something in hand. Ricky will probably score and if Lee canadd to his brace yesterday we will be on the march upwards.

This will be a good test as will be like a cup tie with Wycombe no doubt work their socks off but expect Saints to win the battle first and then use their extra skill to get the goal or goals for 3 points.

wycombe had a good win on saturday against Millwall and will really be up for this. I can see us catching then on the break with our new found speed and ending up comfortable winners.

With 15 minutes to go, it's a bloody awful performance in a swamp. If it weren't for Davis, we'd be 2-0 down. Lambert and Lallana have both missed sitters and it sounds horrific. And the Radio Solent commentary keeps crapping out, so we hear ads such as that obnoxious little child advertising Sport Relief.

COME ON SAINTS!!!

FT 0-0.

Well that was a load of f**king shyte. Absolutely abysmal performance against lowly opposition on a swamp of a pitch. A typically Dr Jeckle and Mr Hyde Saints scenario, brilliant one game, rubbish the next. An away point is good - bollocks. Not when you're trying to get to the play offs and having to play catch up anyway. Play-offs? Bloody forget it. Not a bleeding chance now, we've blown what little chance we had of getting to them.

Surely there should be points deductions against clubs with crappy pitches which are more like the Somme than professional football grounds, with further sanctions for playing turgid negative football.

The commentary was atrocious and this an hour after I had paid for another year of the player. I know that I used to enjoy the commentary when done by Radio Hampshire and David Armstrong was in the commentary team. He often used to suggest a remedy for the days poor performances and was always able to see a way forward.
Still, back to a dour fight against a team trying to stay alive. Poor performance though Fonte appeared to be mentioned a lot breaking up attacks. He is looking more and more like the best purchase of January. Puncheon didn't seem to want to know and overall it appears that there was a lack of a spark for this game. Pardew simply said that it was the wrong time to play Wycombe. When should we have played them then? When they were asleep?

Agreed about the commentary, SFC Forever. I was listening to it on Radio Solent (btw, being in Salisbury, aren't you in the Solent area? If so, there's no point in paying for Saints Player as that's just the Solent commentary) and it was bloody awful, the commentary kept cutting out and we got annoying trailers instead. It was terrible. Unfortunately it keeps on happening on Solent, it's amateurish and infuriating.

Unfortunately Salisbury is as bad as Solent for listening to radio channels. If I get into the car and drive about half a mile I can hear it. Indoors no chance.
