WEAKEST LINK AGAINST POMPEY

Who let the team down? Who should be dropped? Who was Saints weakest player against Pompey?

I don't believe that he was letting the side down particularly but age has caught up with a couple of that team. Chris Perry for me was the weak link due solely to his slowness. He still gives his all but now he is not up to it. Kelvin was not a lot better and he was at fault for a couple of their goals.

Suffice it to say on his performance yesterday if Kelvin had been in pompey's goal we would have been home and hosed by halftime.

Think hard to be to critical on Perry as simple case of age catching up and always gives 100%, against MK Dons couldnt be faulted. Agree Kelvin didnt have a great game but neither did Thomas but defence in 2nd half had no cover from midfield who went gung ho, who is the holding midfield player?

Holding midfield was the one position that I wanted AP to fill in the transfer window more than any other. That failure could well come back to haunt him.
