Re: A WIN AGAINST TRANMERE??
Even without Murty would expect us to be to strong for Tranmere. With Lambert, Connolly and Lallana got to expect a win by a couple. Would be nice for a clean sheet but could be another 3 - 1

Re: A WIN AGAINST TRANMERE??
I think we'll be too strong for Tranmere. I hope that AP has got the complacency out of the players after the Brighton result and they'll approach this one with the right attitude. We keep winning 3-1 so why not another 3-1 to us? Although Saints to stick five or six past someone would be nice! However, Tranmere, like Wycombe, have found their feet recently and this won't be an easy game.

Re: A WIN AGAINST TRANMERE??
Well, as the sole tragic case online at the moment I'll post this. From a Saints point of view the first half was absolutely atrocious. Tranmere have come to stop us playing, yet are playing an attacking game. Saints don't even look like scoring. Ref useless giving most decisions Tranmere's way.

Well, that was a much better second half. Whatever Alan Pardew said at half time worked. 3 goals and a clean sheet!

Re: A WIN AGAINST TRANMERE??
as you said the first half was definitely forgettable. We stepped up a gear in the second half and from the time that Harding blasted a rocket shot past their keeper the game was over.
