Will we be able to find the form to win a game at last this season? I'll be there in the family stand, behind the goal, with Twizzle and maybe Graham. We have shown some form at home so far and are really in need of the points. Brentford did well for most of last season before falling away at the end. They will give us a game but with our best players available we might start to pick up and show some form. An improvement is due and with the new players I hope that we can become more resilliant. Murty and Perry have been missed and Hammond should be able to work with Schneiderlin to help the young frenchman produce his bag of tricks.

With the addition of Hammond and Trotman I would like to think that we could have a team better prepared for the hurley burley of League one.

My starting XI :-
Davis, Murty, Trotman, Thomas, Harding, James, Hammond, Mellis, Holmes, Rasiak, Lambert
subs :- Bart, Perry, Thomson, Gobern, Paterson, Saganoski, Gillett

I would also stress the importance of covering the runs made by our backs as they get caught out of position due to the lack of cover far to often.

Think the signing of Hammond and Trotman will add needed steel into the side plus some height so we can defend set peices and make us harder to beat. I think Pardew will probably have a couple more in by Transfer window possible loans and will definitely be a striker as Saga and Rasiak could go any stage, last day of window probably so they can milk their over inflated salaries!

Confident of a good perfomance on Saturday where shape of team will start to emerge.

My job often means I can't attend because i have to be on call. This weekend I don't so I have my ticket for the Kingsland, block 32, row H. Looking forward to what I think will be our first home leage win of the season. I am taking my camera, I just hope the stewards let me take pics. I have verbal permission from both the press office and the ticket office, but it is only verbal.

Looks as though Murty and mills are still out. In which case James will be RB amd I can see Mellis playing in front of him with spiderman playing CM alongside Hammond. Sorely tempted to have Gobern LM and Lambert up front with one other.

If James plays right back really would prefer someone with experience in front of him. He improved last season but often had lightweight small players in front who gave him no help. Possibly Lallana out wide right? Havent seen Mellis yet so not sure of his skills, I worry about Gobern and his commitment in a game but with Hammond and Trotman in the side should be more solid and hopefully Hammond can fire up some of the younger players.

Back from the game and was pleasantly surprised by the improvement shown since Swindon. Still not good enough but it is a step in the right direction. The two new boys look as though they will do well and it was again Harding who stole the show for us.
