SOUTHAMPTON RED BULLS?
Found this:
Two of the three interested parties of the takeover of Southampton FC backed out today, one remains. A swiss group, but who are they?
Southampton Football Club's future is hanging on by a thread and can only rely on a Swiss consortium after Matthew Le Tissier's Pinnacle Group withdrew their interest.
Former midfield ace Le Tissier, 40, confirmed that the Pinnacle deal could not be confirmed due to an agreement with the football league unable to be met. Le God also confirmed he was 'Frustrated and Hurt' at the decision taken by the Pinnacle consortium this morning.
All hope hangs on the shoulders of a Swiss consortium, thought to be none other than Red bull. The sports company are worth £8bil and have a string of successful sports teams and endorse very successful sports stars, such as Sebastian Vettel and Kevin Pietersen, however, the deal could agree that the clubs name can be changed, as all red bull owned sports teams have 'Red Bull' in their names, the proposed name is rumoured to be 'Southampton Red Bulls'. This may cause uproar in the City as it is against tradition and with all due respect, sounds very American. Mark Fry is expected to make a statement this evening; however there are rumours going around that Pinnacle stepped aside due to Le Tissier saying that the Swiss can provide a better future for the Saints. According to Mark Fry there will be no more exclusivity, it's either a straight cash deal by Friday or the club will close. There is a Middle Eastern consortium said to be interested too but no-one knows who this could be.
Also, Marc Jackson's consortium has decided to pull out also due to 'Israeli backers opting out' he wished the fans the best of luck and telling them they deserved better. One thing is for certain, the club could be gone by Friday or we could be celebrating with a can of Red Bull.

Re: SOUTHAMPTON RED BULLS?
Right now I'll take anyone. Course if this is all true the Blue Few will call us the Red Bull Shitters. Maybe that's what the story is though.

Re: SOUTHAMPTON RED BULLS?
I'd take anyone - Osama Bin Laden, Mullah Omar, the Queen, as long as we have a club. Might stop short at L**e, though... ;)

Re: SOUTHAMPTON RED BULLS?
With everything that has been happening since before we entered admin i am left wondering why?
Why did we loan/buy so many players that didn't play for us?
Why on earth did we go into admin when we did?
Why did Pinnacle bid so high, drag the deal on and on and then pull out?
Has there been a hidden agenda as suggested months ago?
Is it possible that someone is waiting for us to go under before making a move?
The whole affair has run for so long that it all seems to be to strange to be true.

The club has been so appallingly badly run over the past six years. This is the outcome of that gross mismanagement and frankly the parties involved, especially L**e and W**de, should be banned from ever running any sort of company again. I don't know if Lowelife didn't put the club into admin sooner, so we'd have got the deduction this past season and not next, out of spite or not, but I wouldn't be surprised if he did.
The whole thing stinks worse than dead fish left in a hot room for a week.
I also wouldn't be surprised if nothing happens before Friday, then the new owners (if we have any) can get the club for next to nothing.

Re: SOUTHAMPTON RED BULLS?
Only problem then is the likelyhood of starting much lower in the football world.
