Points deductions
What I fail to understand about points deductions is how the whole thing is done - how and why the deductions are applied depending on a team's final position in the League.
How is it that points deductions are applied in the same season if a team finishes outside the relegation zone, but in the following season if a team (as happened to Saints in our case) is relegated. Stockport, who went into administration, finished comfortably mid-table in League One so their points deduction would have come off this season just gone, but as they were not chasing promotion and were in no danger of relegation how on earth is that a punishment? That can only be a punishment if the team were hovering just off the drop zone or in the play offs or automatic promotion spots, so what is the point? On that logic, we should have had the deduction this year because we were already all-but relegated.
The system has so many holes in it you could use it as a fishing net.
As for us, in the interests of keeping the club alive, in League One (better that than the Blue Square whatever) and with a good future, Pinnacle should just say 'ok, we'll sign'. I don't like what the FL are doing, it smacks of bullying and blackmail, but on the other hand I don't want to see the club perish because of a principle.

Re: Points deductions
The main problem here is that none of us knows for sure what the fuss is all about. It could even be something more sinister like an additional 15 points when we come out of administration without a CVA.
