I must admit that the vast magority of football fans that I have met are friendly. When you get the banter flowing the camaraderie comes across really well. As does each persons love for the game above all else.

I loved the derby days with New*****e, the banter afterwards was brilliant. The things that should have happened, the pen that was given when it wasn't, all that sort of stuff is what football is all about.

That is something that i have missed in recent years. When I was younger I would sometimes go to Pompey to see them and the rivalry was nowhere near the nasty vitriolic way it is now.
