Southampton v Manchester United
Must admit to being dissapointed that the match is going to be played on the Sunday at 4.00pm. It's going to be the first day back at work on the Monday (for me), so it's put a dampener on it.
Football is for 3.00pm on a Saturday (evening games accepted) as far as I'm concerned...........still gonna enjoy it though ;)

Arse. Setanta is such a waste of space, it really is. Oh well, only two people will get to see us stuff Man U (or get stuffed ourselves).

I suppose I could jack Sky in and go to BT because I think they are doing a special offer on Setanta at the moment. Will check it out and report later.

Re: Southampton v Manchester United
I am now Officially Worried about this game. If the team show up in the same crap, useless frame of mind as they did last night - and bearing in mind it's also on the telly and we all know that SFC's players are like rabbits caught in headlights when playing in front of the tv cameras - I think we are going to get absolutely annihilated.

Re: Southampton v Manchester United
I think as is always the case Saints will raise their game, and Man U won't play very well especially as they will be playing all the Ronaldo wannabees (Nani, Anderson etc) and will think it will be an easy game. Just a shame that we don't have a great old fashioned ground with loads of holes in the pitch and a wonky goal-line. I can't see us getting past Ferdinand and Vidic so 2-0 to Man U.

After the game against crystal palace I was seriously thinking about missing this one, we're gonna get beat and £30.00 is alot of money this time of year.

this could be the omen that we need as i cant recall ever being beaten on the tv when its been on setanta
dont think we have ever been shown on there but thats another story
just going to get another straw

Re: Southampton v Manchester United
The only thing I can see is a game full of goals. My fear is where they are going to be scored. I still favour a draw if we can remember that we need to shoot to score.

It will be a day were Saints will have a good day or Utd will have a field day with us.
Thats the great thing about the FA Cup.
We normaly have a good game with Utd; we beat them in the final of 76, the next season they dumped us out of the FA Cup, then we beat them badley a fews seasons later, then they dumped us out of Prem.
I tend to and want to believe sparkle, the Fa cup is a day of the unbeliveable, but on resent form we should lose badly on the day.
Lets hope and believe.

Re: Southampton v Manchester United
Belief is a marvellous thing Kentish.
I believe I am still young until I wake up every day.
Whatever the result I don't see us scoring that many against Utd and that is when I feel slightly worried.
