well Djenepo looks definite just medical, and also supposedly Leeds CH Jannson and offer made for Che Evans.

All look like will be around the 12 - 15m price. Djenepo looks potentially like a young Mane, has pace and a few goals so will be a buy with potential so don't expect great things in first season, Jannson is no nonsense, battling CH so could be what we are missing, our CHs are all to nice. Evans clearly we were in for in January so no real surprise we have gone back.

If all 3 happen not a bad start, need though for Gallagher, Austin, Elyou,, Hoedt and Stephens to go to make room for them and free up a bit of cash, though we wont get much for most, Gallagher could be used in the deal for Evans.

Then think will be a case of if we can shift Carillo, Forster, Boufal and Cedric before we can sign anyone else. That would free up a fair chuck of wages even if not much cash

We'll just have to wait and see I guess. As usual at this time of the year.

That's Che Adams Matty? Think he'd be a good buy but loads of other clubs interested and I can't see him ending up at Saints.

Don't think I'd heard of Jannson but from what you say he sounds what we need.

haven't seen other clubs mentioned for Evans despite interest in January, think saints and Birmingham are continuing talks, apparently Monk unhappy and maybe doesn't like deals being done which he has no say in so could be a good sign. Maybe we have offered Hoedt and Carillo in exchange

definitely need a decent CH, apart from the rumours around the Leeds CH a few weeks ago gone very quiet. Would like a Wanyama type CM player, Romeau seemed to be off the boil a bit last year

A young Schneiderlin would be ok for the midfielder.

And Matty, can you have a word with Ralph and see if he can arrange with Spurs for a return to St Marys by Toby? Either a purchase or a loan would be fine. I know the guy is 30 now and over Ralph's preferred age, but surely age doesnt matter quite so much for a defender provided he is still at the top of his game. I think Spurs are looking for a keeper so maybe Forster or McCarthy could be part of the deal.

personally I would sell as although in some games was outstanding in others he was awful, his injury record seems to happen at every club and think his attitude doesn't match what Ralph is looking for. Should at least get most of our money back and could spend that on a decent CH

Incredibly quiet on the transfer front both in and out. Austin looks like being a bit of a prat, hanging on for a premiership side he will have long wait but looks like he doesn't care as on £70k and may well see out his contract sat on his backside. Stephens and Hoedt looked pretty poor for the Preston goal yesterday, will struggle to off load them but can see Hoedt being loaned to a foreign side at end of August. But we are desperate for a decent CH.

Think Cedric has played his way back into the team so no need for a RB.

From reports, Slattery had a great game in Macau and having just signed a new contract he may be desperate to become a first team regular. Maybe he will rival Romeu for a midfield spot.

I can't really see Ralph letting the transfer window close without us signing a central defender, even if we can't get much more from sales to cover the cost. But it's strange that there are no rumours doing the rounds at the moment about interest in a defender......

original interest was around Webster at Bristol City and all the moves seem to be around Maguire moving to Utd to start chain of events. Watched the highlights of the Bristol City, v Palace friendly, Webster looked pretty awful, appreciate only 1 game but certainly didn't look any better than Stephens. That is part of the problem Stephens has shown okay at championship level but not premier league, if he was in Championship everyone one would be going on about him and a £30m price tag being quoted. Webster is totally unproven at this level and Palace certainly exposed him yesterday.

Hoping that Ralph has someone he knows as wee Ross hasn't done that well with buys.

Well left to last minute but it looks like Danso young CB has been signed from Ausburg but still to be officially confirmed, cannot believe we had to wait until Austin sold to complete this deal so late in the day as only £4m for Austin, the club are not that broke, just badly run.

Harrison-Reed to Fulham on loan, expect Carillo, Elyounoussie, Lemina and possibly Hoedt to go on loans to clubs in Europe next week. Defensive Midfield player one area where we are short but Danso can play there as could Stephens at a push, Lemina may have burnt his bridges with Ralph has attitude has been poor.

Not bad window at the end but still quite a few to clear out, Liverpool took 34 year old Scott Carson so shows you we are stuck with Forster
