Talking to SkySports in the last few minutes, Krueger categorically stated that Morgan and JRod are not going and it is all just rumours. He 'guaranteed' that they would both still be with Saints in September after the transfer window closes.

Umm....makes me wonder whether Krueger knew Schneiderlin would react like this......so said we were going to keep him and his departure would not look like the club's fault!

Just hope Tweedledee and Tweedledum stick to their guns, Morgan goes nowhere unless £27m and then only if we have bought a replacement BEFORE the sale, wise up clowns how to do business.

It's about time they realised that although in the real world it is sensible to wait till money is in your hand before you spend it, in football it doesn't work that way and the fact that a club supposedly has funds makes other clubs push the price up.

I can sort of understand him as has seen all the others go and get much bigger contracts and at the moment thinks by not kicking up earlier he has missed the boat which I can see means tough to concentrate. Think the selling of Chambers was the killer for him, indicated would sell anyone then fans kicked up big time with lots of media coverage and Reed and Kruger got worried, by all accounts Schneiderlin was going to be sold until the kickback.

Guess he would have looked at Chambers on Sunday, probably now on more money than him at 19, been to Wembley and got a medal, even if Charity Shield, then thought s**t, especially as he is better than the 4 we have sold!

Will see about JRod as he has to come back from injury, if he does and fact he hasn't signed contract then would sell but if on form £20m plus, Morgan is now worth £25m plus. Tottenham are cheap skates and will not offer that and blown their chances with Townsend as we now have Mane.

I suspect if Morgan continues to play well, Saints stay near the top 4 then a big club will probably make a bid or let him know via the media to unsettle him. Way it is going for spuds Pochitino will be desperate to sign him but they are actually cheap skates when it comes to spending. Think if a club bids £28m upwards then saints will consider and hope they are looking now at potential replacements but think he will stay this season, next year not so sure.

still if we stay in 2nd place and get into Champions league then he will be happy to stay:D
