TRANSFER RECORD TO BE BROKEN? Empty Re: TRANSFER RECORD TO BE BROKEN?

Don't see it happening personally, be surprised if we spend £4m in total. Would like to see some movement in the transfer market, squad need strengthening in couple of places especially up front where Connolly's injuries and Barnards court date place a huge risk. Even the skates are making signings with Pearce from Bournemouth!!

Think Bournemouth could do a Swindon if not careful. A number of similarities and swindon sold their main defender and club captain and look what happened.

I'm definitely not panicking but I feel that we need some signings soon, three or four to strengthen. 'Soon' because July and the pre-season is almost on us, it's only just over a month to the new season starting, and we all know what happened after a disastrous pre-season last year.
I can't help feeling that the lack of signings so far is down to one or more of:

a) NA not being given a lot to spend (worrying if true)
b) Saints having trouble landing the players they want due to clubs thinking they're loaded - either because of the owners' billionaire status or because they think Chamberlain's going to be sold - and holding out for the maximum amount and NC refusing to pay up
c) For whatever reason players (or their agents) not wanting to sign for the club.

or

d) Saints being their normal slow selves.

Most clubs haven't been very active as is the norm for this part of the summer. I think we will see signings in July when the squad is back in for pre season.
